Finding discriminating whole genome map fragments

For a series of foodborne Salmonella Saintpaul isolates combined with a number of reference strains, this BioNumerics Seven tutorial illustrates a workflow for whole genome map analysis (data from the Argus™ Whole Genome Mapping System (OpGen®)), including display, cluster analysis and the search for discriminating fragments for the group of foodborne isolates.

Whole genome maps

Whole genome maps are high resolution, ordered whole genome restriction maps from single microbial DNA molecules obtained from the Argus™ Whole Genome Mapping System (OpGen).
