On-site training and courses
In institutions and companies where multiple licenses of our software are in use, it can be time and cost-saving to have a training or course organized on-site. On demand of the customer, Applied Maths organizes custom-tailored on-site training sessions
or courses on theoretical and practical themes. The on-site courses may cover the same topics as the regular workshops, or may focus on specific topics of interest. Applied Maths has a team of experts in bioinformatics, mathematics, and statistics and has a long tradition with giving didactical lectures and training.
In the past, Applied Maths has organized on-site courses on the following themes (optionally with practice using Applied Maths software indicated):
Clustering (Unsupervised Learning) and Cluster Verification Techniques [BioNumerics]
Identification or Classification Methods (Supervised Learning) [BioNumerics] [GeneMaths]
Data Normalization, Error Handling, and Data Mining Techniques [GeneMaths]
Hypothesis Testing Methods and Statistical Tests in Biology [BioNumerics] [GeneMaths]
Relational Databasing of Biodata, Data Exchange, and Client-Server Setup [BioNumerics]
Sequence Alignment and Phylogenetic Inference Methods [Kodon][BioNumerics]
Sequence Databases and Fast Screening Methods (FASTA, BLAST) [Kodon]
Sequence Molecular Analysis Tools and In-Silico Experiments [Kodon]
Chromosome Comparison, Gene Mapping and Annotation Techniques [Kodon]
Since our on-site trainings continue to be successful, early planning is important.
