Applied Maths enters into financial partnership with KBC Investment Funds

 

Sint-Martens-Latem, Belgium, December 7, 2006 – Applied Maths NV,  today announced that it has entered into a financial partnership with KBC, Belgium's leading bank for private and public equities. Through its investment funds KBC Private Equity and KBC Private Equity Fund Biotech, KBC has acquired a 75% stake holding in the Company. The remaining shares are owned by the management. The partnership with KBC will ensure the continuation of Applied Maths' healthy financial situation and current policy. Johan Cardoen, CEO of CropDesign, joins the Board of Directors as an independent director.
