Geographical information in epidemiology

Is it possible to see the geographic distribution of various strains and serotypes plotted on a map. Is this possible with your software?

Certainly, all you need to do is to install the Geographical plugin and make sure that you are connected to the internet. This plugin makes it possible to plot geographic information such as location names (city, country, etc.) or coordinates (longitude and latitude) on a map. It allows you to display strain information as color bars or pie graphs for easy recognition. These bars and pies can also be scaled by the number of isolates originating from the same location. The Geographical plugin therefore forms a convenient link between typing results (as obtained in BioNumerics or GelCompar II) and the strain's geographic origin.
