The BioNumerics software upgrade version 6.6 (5 January 2012) is available as a self-extracting Setup file. The upgrade can only be executed when you have a valid license for BioNumerics and a License String for version 6.6, which must be entered when the upgrade is run for the first time.

How to upgrade to BioNumerics version 6.6?
1. Request License String
- This upgrade is free for all customers who originally purchased a license for BioNumerics version 5.0 or later. If you have purchased BioNumerics version 5.x or 6.x, you can obtain your License String by on-line filling in the License String request form.
- If you purchased an earlier version of BioNumerics than 5.0, you will need to upgrade your license before you can install version 6.6. Please contact us for a quote.

3. Install the upgrade
- The Setup program of BioNumerics version 6.6 is based on InstallShield and allows a number of settings and choices to be entered that previously had to be entered after the installation. Setup now also supports automated batch installation for deploying BioNumerics on multiple computers in a network. The installation of BioNumerics is described in detail in the Installation guide.
- During the installation, Setup will ask you to enter your License String. The License String authenticates your license and determines the number of modules and simultaneous users, as well as the license type (dongle or internet-based).
