BioNumerics 6.0 new features
BioNumerics version 6.0 is a major upgrade with an impressive list of new features, including several fundamental improvements.
While the previous major upgrade, version 5, was well received for its new interface and numerous interactivity improvements, version 6 brings a boost of new analysis features. Among the most important realizations to mention are
- The fully integrated database security and control tools
- A new sophisticated cluster analysis window
- A new patented technology to assess the reliability of clusters obtained with any algorithm
- Rich sequence annotation with a fully-featured sequence editor
- Editing fingerprint bands directly in comparisons
- For the statistics-oriented users, a new Partition Mapping application and in-depth ANOVA and MANOVA analysis
In addition, BioNumerics version 6.0 functionality has been extended with two new modules:
